	Navarakkizhi
	It is a process by which the whole body or any specific part thereof is made to perspire by the application of certain medical puddings externally in the form of boluses tied up in a muslin bag. This is applied by two masseurs for about 60 to 90 minutes per day for a period of 14 days. This treatment is for all types rheumatism, pain in the joints, emaciation of limbs, blood pressure, cholesterol and certain kinds of skin diseases.
	Sirodhara
	The medicine used in shirodhara depend on what is being treated, but can include oil, milk, buttermilk, coconut water etc. Luke warm medicated oil is poured as an even stream on to the forehead continuously to pacify. It is extremely beneficial for Insomnia, schizophrenias and ailments related to the head and nasal cavity viz. migraine, common cold etc.
	Uzhichil
	For general fitness and well being of the entire body, it promotes better blood circulation, tones up muscles, recovers the effect of fatigue, alleviates stiffness of joints and stimulates the nervous system. Uzhichil is a treatment that has gained popularity in Oil Massage. In Kerala Ayurveda the Panchakarma method of treatment is very famous treatments and this divided in various sub-divisions. "Uzhichil" is comes in "Sveda" and it is a part of Panchakarma, and it is the traditional art of treatment in kerala Ayurveda. Uzhichil is vey effective for the rheumatic patients and it also helpful in paralytic stroke, breathing problems, arthiritis, spondylitis, slip disc, nerves weakness, cramps and other disorder.
	Pizhichil
	Here, a particular heated medicine is uninterruptedly poured on to the whole body / body parts for a specific time along with continuous massage. This treatment has wide range of indications. It is excellent for the treatment of rheumatic disorders, paralysis, hemiplegia, sexual weakness and nervous disorders. For healthy people too this treatment is widely used. Pizhichil is a special form of Ayurvedic treatment that combines rich oil massage with a special heat treatment. This therapy is known as the “King’s Treatment” due to its popularity with the Maharajas of ancient India.
	Udwarthanam
	Massage done by using fine herbal powders or pastes. It is excellent in the treatment for obese patients to reduce fat and weight.. Udwarthanam softens and exfoliates the skin, improves muscle tone, and is a favoured treatment for those with sensitive skin. In addition, Udwarthanam improves blood circulation and eases joint pains, and is also known to be effective against certain skin diseases. For those who wish to remove fat and dead cellulite, it is advisable to follow up Udwarthanam with herbal steam, Takara Dhara and internal medicine. (The last will be prescribed by the vaidya himself.)
	Nasyam
	The application of medicated oils through nose. This is highly effective management of diseases related to head, nose and nervous system; viz. sinusitis, chronic head aches and disturbed sleep etc. It acts by removing the excess humors accumulated in the different sinus cavities and throat. Nasyam is highly effective for different kinds of migraine, hormonal imbalances, paralysis, mental disorders, premature graying of hair, loss of smell and taste and even can add clarity to voice. It cleanses the different cavities and increases oxygenation thus improving brain functioning.
